The three-layer technology used in production ensures the right grip and stability of the eKO Lite:

• The seaweed-like surface structure made of polyester makes the eKO easy to grip and particularly durable, as the closed cell structure prevents the penetration of sweat and the proliferation of bacteria.
• The middle layer is made of a blend of organic cotton and polyester and is welded to the top layer at high temperature. No toxic adhesives are used.
• The bottom layer provides optimal cushioning and padding thanks to a thick, open-pored underside.

Natural rubber mats have anatural rubber smell, which evaporates over time.

Natural materials

The eKO yoga mats are made from natural rubber not harvested in the Amazon, a natural, renewable resource from the latex of the rubber tree Hevea Brasiliensis. Unlike other rubber mats, the foams used to make them are non-toxic and free of AZO dyes. No toxic chemicals are used in the manufacturing process to soften the rubber.

Recycled and recyclable

Natural rubber is completely biodegradable. The material mix also contains a small amount of recycled synthetic rubber, which makes the mat particularly stable.

Storage:Do not expose your Manduka eKO Lite mat to excessive sunlight. If the mat has become damp from sweat or water, allow it to dry completely before rolling it up.

Odor: The mats from the eKO series are made of natural, biodegradable natural rubber and are manufactured without toxic glues or odor binders. Natural rubber has a typical odor that disappears over time, but remains noticeable in traces for people who are sensitive to odors.
